Principal's News

Dear Stratton families:

Our PTO is amazing.  Please see the photos below of the first day of Teacher Appreciation Week, a wall of donuts and bagels and posters from students greeting our faculty at their arrival today.  We feel so lucky to be supported by all the fantastic Stratton families.

It's hard to believe but we are already beginning our design of new classroom communities for the 23-24 school year.  Families are invited to contribute to the process by completing the following form and returning it to their child's classroom teacher by this Thursday.

As in years past, there is not a procedure to request a particular teacher.  It should be noted, though, that in 3rd grade we WILL have 4 sections of classrooms.

I hope you have a great week!  Some Stratton faculty are all going to the Red Sox together tomorrow night, cross your fingers for good weather!

Dear Stratton Families:

I'm writing to let you know that after more than 10 years as the Stratton School Principal, I'll be moving back home to Washington State at the end of this school year.  To say that it has been an incredible experience leading the Stratton community would be an understatement.  There are so many stories and memories that I take with me, but some of the biggest are working with the amazing families of this school community.  I hope to have many chances to express my gratitude, and share those stories together.  I'll be telling the kids my news at the PRIDE meeting on Friday.  Dr. Homan will be visiting with the faculty on Monday after school to begin the process to find my replacement, which will of course include the families of Stratton.

Have a great rest of your week!
